Living The Dream

Today I was cleaning a rental and the neighbor came and asked if I would come take a look at his place. So I went over only to discover that they had applied some sort of stick on tiles over there carpet. When I asked why he said to protect the carpet. When they peeled the tiles up it was nothing but an adhesive nightmare all over the carpet. I was to busy to tru and clean his place today but said I would try and give a pass with my wand to see what we were dealing with. I presprayed with what I had mixed for the other place, Code Red and Citra Solv 2. Not much dwell because I was in a hurry but I cranked the heat to 240° and let it rip. What a nightmare of glue and stickiness. Made about 10 passes each one a little better but holy shit what a mess! I told him I probably need to treat with a gel and citrus. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? I'm going back at noon tomorrow.
