it's not the ball valve it's the fluid release valve. mine took a crap weeks after i got my Mex.

who else besides Sad Sack Sapp has done biz with Gargan???

They are nice. The only problem I've had is the filter on the inside of the tank. It came loose and I can't get my fat arm inside the tank to fix it.

my filter fell off in 1st few months...stayed floating in there for couple years then i finally pulled it out lol...no reason for it that i can see. unless you got flies or bumblebees dying in ur tank to plug up the plumbing.
