Bently wand streaking...need help

I have a Mytee Bentley 14in CF wand that is streaking pretty bad on heavily soiled carpet. I have changed the jets to 1.5 and I believe I have the right jet angle but I could be wrong. Does anybody have suggestions on how I can fix this?

Things to check

spring/drip valves (bristor's) inside jets may be broken or causing a goofy pattern

your psi is too high

you need to slow down and over lap more

obstruction behind the glide

try adjusting the spray pattern so it hits the edge of the glide just a hair

don't use it as a scrub wand, more and better pre spray to loosen the soil

use a Rotary Extractor in real dirty areas.

If it just started all of a sudden then it has an obstruction. You can clean the jets and if it gets better but not like new get new jets. Check to see if the jet bar is lined up still. It could have been bumped in between jobs and is now spraying a little cockeyed. You TM could have spiked on the pressure as already stated. You just don't realize it because you didn't change anything.

To see if it is just the pressure, hook it up as usual, pull the trigger while dragging it across the carpet and slowly turn the ball valve off. If the streaking goes away then you know it's your pressure. BTW you cannot run your wand with the ball valve partially opened for long because it will wear out the innards of the valve.

Move the jets up as high as possible (maintaining the same angle) .

I would go back to the #2 jets . . .

and lower the spraying pressure to ~350 PSI.

We clean at 300 to 400 psi

With the Bentley's low profile design and the jets under the 2' tube, often the jets are just too close to the carpet.

put the 02 jets in it and keep it at 300-325
Fortunately, it's a very good cleaning wand at low pressure .
but it's a jet fiber distorting , streaking PITA much above 300 PSI

try some 110 deg tips in center. we did this and it fixed the streaking. also lower psi to 300
