OMG
picked up the Cimex today. Didn't realize it was the 24 inch model, thing is a beast. It is also an older model with the smaller wheels which makes it a pain to move around and it will not go up stairs unless you have 2 people and the solution trigger is broken. Still works but will have to be replaced. Comes with floor and hard surface brushes plus drive blocks with old Velcro attached for pad use. Velcro looks like it needs to replaced. Tried it out today on an apartment lobby and hallway which is level loop over pad. Used Procyon Extreme and it came out pretty good. Stopped and had a couple of beer with the bldg. mgr. for about an hour and when I checked, the carpet was already dry to the touch. Some of the more troublesome spots had disappeared, I'll check tomorrow to see if they stay gone. The machine is large and cumbersome but very easy to use and fast. Won't get into corners but edges quite well. I am going to order some pads and some Releasit and see how that works. The guy wants $2000.00 and I'm thinking maybe $1000.00. Any opinions on the size and the price?

We have a great supplier in Ontario. I buy from them all the time. Great people. I'll PM you the contact info.Hello Rick, I don't know if it is feasible to order from you with the difference in our currencies and customs fees. We do have a cimex distributor in Ontario apparently but any advice you have on pads and juice would be appreciated and if it makes economic sense, I would definitely buy from you.
Lorne carries the Releasit zebra brush. Great for tight spaces and cornersJust wondering if there is something like a doodlebug for carpet to get in the corners?
Put me on the "not now but soon" listHow many of you would be in for another 10" Brush Encap MB Group Buy?
Iike this post if you're commited to partake
I just use my buffer with a bonnet, on this job I would have had to pull 350 feet of hose to clean this one room , so I encap this room and it turned out really good, I would like to get a CRB to get scrub the carpet and to get out the pet hair out of the carpet. When I clean a 30,000 sq. ft. building I run two truckmounts one at one end of the building and another at the other end and I run two wands off both truckmounts. running 4 wands and two hose pullers I can clean 30,000 sq. ft. in 8 hours endcap cleaning
Any word on a group buy for the 10" Mike?
no go..
The CRB is the last piece of equipment I need to get and I want one bad! How much do they run in the group buys?
I prevacuum the room and then I sprayed the whole room and as I was bonneting the room I sprayed the bad areas, So what am I doing wrong. I also sprayed the bonnet.Glad that works for you but your cleaning procedure is probably the reason why most TM guys think VLM cleaning is a joke. It's not a joke and that's not real way to VLM clean by FAR.

I mostly use my truckmount when I am cleaning carpets and sometimes on commercial carpet in the bad traffic areas I bonnet them afterwards with an encapI admit my assessment was unfair as I didn't see the whole process from start to finish and I'm not there to see the actual condition of the carpet. Yeah there is more steps/more professional equipment than what you were showing but if what you were doing works for the situation, then that's cool. My initial reaction was due to the fact your video, I thought, gave the appearance that VLM is done with a pad and a $15 hand held pump up sprayer squirted indiscriminately here and there on the carpet. Carry on!
