[quote="Scott Rogers":2uvd70g0]Whats insane about maximizing vacuum. I run my slide in 3300-3400 @15 Hg's as do many as much as I like the look and footprint of your system, I cant see going backwards in performance

Roots 45 blower redline is 3600 RPM
yor 45 is at redline....getting 15Hg......whilst
my 47 is BARELY over idle getting the same thing...
who does that make insane?
'cides not many wastetanks i know of will hold up to repeated 15-16 Hg cycles.......
did i mention that the SGs havea bullet-proof SS wastetank......[/quote:2uvd70g0]

That has to be one of the dumbest statements you have ever made.
RPM's = CFM doh head you can get 15 Hg's damn near idle but very little air movement. I thought you knew how these things work?

I love Mine to death! anyone who is looking for a affordable machine that will run for 20 years should buy a Genie From BawB! Hoodledink I will kick your azz, Bawb said you were small! I can say I've never had any of those problems..........lmfao, at least not the rock through the pump. I pull off steady temps of 180-210, Thinking about getting a inline to plug in the custy's house, any thoughts on those would be appreciated. Really Happy Customer!

Maybe something like this little heater would work to preheat the water to around 120-130?

Bawb, do you do your own TIG welding on the waterboxes or have them made?
well the one that yor looking at is an original Steam Genie....that i polished!
the others are cut out at my waterjeters and bent....
then i take them to my worldclass welder buddy!

That's cool. I've been welding all my life - stick, mig, gas. I finally broke down about a year ago and bought a nice TIG machine. Mild steel is a piece of cake, but aluminum and stainless takes some practice! I can now do decent welds in stainless, but still far from world class....

Are those beauties heat exchanger or propane?

Also...that long green belt going to the water pump: Was a belt tensioner put on?

Couple years back I was at a complex and a guy was running a mid 90s Chevy with a Genie PTO

the tech was in the drivers seat revving the accelerator cause the advance cable was busted

the ultimate brokedick machine

It is filled with inventions that I'm sure you'd find some dumb......
