Does anyone know if COIT makes their own PTO's which look like copies of the CDS?

Does anyone know anything about their TM's, good or bad?

Thx Bill

As OZ sez..

Just a Hydramaster CDS.

Are you looking at a used one?
The factor will be how well was it cared for, hrs, miles, etc.

I've seen some pretty abused coit stuff.

Not true.

A guy by the name of Keith Swenske who used to work for prochem designed and made a proprietary PRO unit for for Coit back in the 80s.
propane heat, no frame, every thing was bolted to the floor and you had to engage the unit to the pto by hand with a big ass lever.

So simple I'm sure there are still some running today.

Ya think?

Sounds like what SS had at one point.
The guy I sold my business to in Spokane had a retired PTO SS unit.
Big lever next to the driver seat as I recall.

Current day and past many many years all I have ever seen were CDS units.

I worked for Coit over in Spokane many many years ago and I had to use a wood stick to hold the gas peddle down to get the machine up to the right RPM's.

Coit uses the HM CDS, the Seattle Coit has some Prochems too that they inherited.

I would never never never buy a used truckmount from a box company like that... they are selling them for a reason.

A friend of mine works for the Coit franchise here in Pittsburgh and he has a Butler unit in his van, I am pretty sure he told me that they had Butlers in all their vans.

I mean still on the road, or further more in the hands of a coit franchise.

Was not questioning what they had in the stone age.

The coit here still uses vans from the mid 90's which are HM CDS.
