if your an owner doing the cleaning use a slide in
if you have employees use a direct drive

They're the George Bush of cleaning equipment. (I had Prochem)

I think everyone should treat their equipment like a politician, whether it be Bush, Clinton, Mulroney, Chretian, esp if its a Trudeau!!

Never trust it and always keep your eye on it! Be ready to fix it at all times. Of course, some need more watching than others

We own 2 direct drives and they have never seen a repair shop, 1 has 9000hrs and 125,000 miles. Plus they are so simple to operate I've had some of our janitors clean carpet for their first time with just a 5 min phone conversation (easy accounts where no skill is needed ONLY).
The ONLY pro slide in statement I would not argue would be they are great if you have a job that requires you to repeatedly move the van short distances while cleaning.
