It's a water base solvent and surfactant blend. Go ahead and pour the limeline on your carpet and don't blot it or touch it just let it dry and watch what happens to that area, it'll attract soil like glue as well as eat up the glue foundation.Read the description and it sounds a lot like d limonene to me
Now pour some undiluted top spot in the area next to it and don't blot it or touch it and let it dry and watch what happens it'll dry to a crispy crystal that will vacuum away and leave no residue at all it won't harm the glue in the foundation whatsoever

You and I and many others tried shaving it and mixing it in hot water and putting it in spray bottles and even then it was a pain to rinse and to create.
