Foam wraps vs. foam wraps

We have always used the red/orange padded Velcro wraps to cover up the male and female quick connects to prevent wood scratches. They work well and last about 6-8 months before they get ratty and ripped.

I saw that they have a female quick connect that has a "foam" coating on it. I was wondering if anyone has used them and how they work/last versus the wrap I described above.

I don't know about the foam one but I use the females with the plastic insulated on them much easier to handle and helps protect hard surfaces if they get on them.

I agree with Bobby . . .

Plastic-covered QC's.

Much faster to connect and take apart.

Time is MONEY.

Anyone who would even consider a foam wrap for their quick connect is mentally retarded. All quick connects should be kept outside the customers house. Just use a 100 foot hose.
