I got some glad pads from John and some weren't sewed worth a sh1t on the edges and came apart on first wash.

For the guys who have never had cotton pads before, make sure to put them through the washer and dryer first before cleaning with them. It will help them last much longer.

So what are you saying is going to be better with these pads? The issue for OP'ers with the all cotton pads of the past was tip bloom which the gladiator pads did much to alleviate. If these are 100% cotton they may have that issue again?
