It’s been years since I’ve been here and of course I need something. The starter still works but the solenoid cracked. I can push the crack together and it starts. It needs to be replaced. I’ve searched but come up with nothing. These may be the wrong numbers but it’s what I can see. I don’t feel like pulling it. I called the engine builder and they said the part is obsolete. Thanks for any help.

I got a starter from Orielys back when it was schucks auto parts. Old 1980's hydracat with an onan engine. I couldn't believe it but he matched the numbers and found it.

I put a reman on my last machine and it failed within a few months. Hoping for a new one but It might not be available.

No. I did find it remanufactured but I prefer new. I’ve not had good luck with remanufactured starters. I repaired the crack and it seems fine. I will pick up the reman just in case and I already removed the panel blocking the rear bolt so it will be less than an hour to replace it.
