Feb 22, 2012 #4 Becker Member Joined Oct 8, 2006 Messages 7,359 Location Snohomish, WA Name Becker Thanks for the help. I loosened the rockers enough to move them aside. Pulled the push rods. And the cam pulled right out. I have a new cam and new carb on the way. And yes. I will clean and reclean the inside of the block and replace filter before firing it up. But the machine just flat died. So I'm sure all the f Platic peices are in the bottom of the block. Would be nice to get another 3k hrs out of it. Maybe more as it will be driving a propane heat unit.

I've been great about oil changes. Engine is going on a propane unit. So less back pressure might help her along. Found cam for 100.00. 10.00 shipping. Worth the cost to see.
