I like the idea of an electric TM....But it has it's issues. If you're able to be less than 50ft to the front door...or partly in a garage in the winter.....seems like it would work decent.
Every job I do in TX is a long run to the front door from the street...unless you go through the back door but I never have....Think Hank Hill.
The idea of plugging in 2 cords (like Rich said) seems to be a huge hassle....along with blowing circuits etc.
The whole point of a TM is to be self contained...for the most part.
Where's Bawb.....The PTO is a great idea for this type of thing really.
Either way...it comes down to how much are you spending time/money to get a carpet clean?

I think it would be a good idea to wait to see the Escape TM hooked up and running and see the comments come back from someone who owns one.
Terje has quite a few ETMs out there and I don't think there are too many complaints.

for the goobers like Brokum that hardly have any work and can afford to waste valuable production time with under powered equipment and looking for plugs, filling up propane
