White Collar if you want to mix it in your fresh tank just use the Portable mixing directions.

That is one thing I always questioned, in general if you take into consideration the heat difference and the fact chemistry is more active in hot water than cold, and the sheer volume of water, and even the vacuum for that sake, would you use the same % of chem. to water in a TM fresh tank that you would on a porty, especially a cold water porty?

I would think i would want more chemistry per gal, to help compensate?

what say you?

Mikey, put 8oz of O2 to your 100 gal, and report back.

I'm too dumb to figure out the math, but I s'pose the best dilution would be what you come up with when running thru a chem metter

example...if i add 1/2 cup concentrate in the mix tank, and meter at 3gpm at "what ever" flow rate, I should be able to calculate that ratio to a 100 gal of fresh water tank.

I'm not sure, but haven't i read labels on name brand TM emulsifiers suggesting a dilution ratio in the 320 to 1 neighborhood?

8 ounces in 220 gals is gonna do something?

I told I was too dumb to figure it out.....apparently I'm not the only one
cause 8oz for 220 gal wouldn't be close to 320 to 1.

320-1 would be more like 90 oz for 220 wouldn't it?

Les recommends half an ounce per five gallons of water (22 ounces per tank). That is six tank fulls per gallon.

If I am doing just carpet I can go a whole day with just one tank.

talk about hurting brains....I said 100 gal. so you could "test" it, like add some chem 1/2 way through your day for a little before and after scenario....I knew the mix was light, stillw anted to see what a light mix would do with your super duper overpriced water softener.

Cause next I'm gonna have one of my Pure water RO guys do the same thing.

I added a gallon of fiber rinse to 200 gal freshtank and it sure smelled strong when cleaning.

I used the portable directions.

Larry me too stupid to figure it out also.

That is the only way to meter anything with my Vortex at the moment.

Not bad put you cant just switch rinses.

Basic pump mod for a simple syphon, then you just hook up a Dwyer meter and you are on your way FunkyMeister.

closest to the pump is the regulator/unloader bypass return, center is chem draw from Dwyer, farthest is fresh water feed that is beng starved 10%.
