Larry wasn't the only one. As we are working the booth and only able to interact with the people that stop by, they can work the crowd.
The distributors that were doing it sold most of the products that were there..
I was reminded of your existence a couple of hours ago. I'd heard you were dead.

Thank you Lisa....it was very exciting for me to have the opportunity to meet and engage with you and Ken. I was intrigued by Kens thoughts for an expandable containment door to compete with zip wall techniques...I'm going to work on it and will be in touch with you guys once we start exploring.
Let us know what you come up with!

it was a nice machine....I sat and talked to a few people about it and spent a good amount of time in the demo area using it and watching others use it...it was pretty much what I had heard and did what everyone said it would....

Did you run it side by side with the 360i Brush Head ?

I remember two people pulling glides out of their pockets and selling right next to Ken Harris's PAID FOR BOOTH. Really impressed me and gave a glimpse into their true character.

And now I believe in birds of a feather flock together.

Ken bought a booth after being escorted out of previous shows for selling in the aisles. He understood once it was explained, and having to sit out in the hall can be humbling.

Any 'cruising' salespeople should get the boot.

It usually takes a vendor to report someone to show management, as it can be difficult for them to tell which marketing guru shows up to see their existing clients at the show and which are actively trying to drum up business without paying for a space.

I also find it fascinating that mytees drunken employees were talking down to Erik with promises of kicking his ass in sales with their knock off.

Sooooooo glad I didn't waste my time...
C'mon Mikey you would have enjoyed shutting that Rep. down with Erik. I feel bad I didn't pile on with Erik but I was in a bad state by 1:00am. I can't even remember what she said but she was off her seat and pretty animated. Total bullshit... Sorry to Erik I was rendered useless.

ICE was phenomenally successful for us! We had quite a few people sign up for our trainings and did live demonstrations of airbrushing Persian rugs, making custom colors (we dyed small pieces of carpet, immediately rinsed them in water, and wiped them on a white rag to demonstrate the colorfastness of the dyes), and demonstrating how to make $200 in 30 seconds by repairing bleach spots. Our booth was constantly packed (as anyone who visited can attest to). All in all it was excellent for us.

We had quite a few members from Mikey's Board stop by to say hi .

Here's the rug that we restored as a live demonstration to the visitors at our booth.

Good for you Chris. Too many vendors talk on their phones or stand behind their equipment and glare at people walking by, then complain about a lousy show. You get the 'show' concept.
Yes. You're 100% right. I couldn't believe how many people were just sitting behind a table full of stuff, hoping that someone would walk up and buy it. Unbelievable.

The rug factor of the show looked great.

We really enjoyed being at the ICE Expo. I do think the attendance was down slightly from last year. There was a lot of interest in the CDS xDRIVE, and across from us Gorilla Trucks had their new truck on a van chassis with a CDS installed. That was certainly the busiest area when the show launched. Unfortunately the outside area at this show was strangely situated, and no one seemed to be able to find it, so we moved our booths inside. Therefore we could not run the CDS xDRIVE, nor the CDS, so it was a look and touch show only for our truckmounts. Lots of interest in our new Restoration equipment line - the booth was actually situated in a different area - I will see if I can dig up some pictures. As always the cleaning product demo area had all the rotaries and upholstery tools and seemed to stay the busiest all the time.
