In Alabama, I use Nationwide for general liability. If you are in Dade County, you may need the Pope to countersign for you.

General liability cover for carpet and upholstery cleaning I have found most insurers will provide this.
With the tile, hardwood floors and pressure cleaning, would I Require a separate janitorial insurance policy or these services?
I intend taking on residential and commercial jobs.

Ask the agent. I would expect each State to have its' own requirements. Mine is general liability.

Get a new agent.
People are doing this work all over your state. It should be simple and not take up your time. I pay my people to make our life easy, to do the research and give me a quick presentation so I can go do what we do. Just my thoughts.
