Is Connections on in Las Vegas this year?

I am confused with all the communications and arguements on whether there is a trade show going on this year.

Contracts for the hotel have already been signed, so cancelling now would be far more expensive than running the show at a loss. If the Connections Board allows the current managment and Executive Committee to stay on Connections is finished.
