I’m still in the market for a pile lifter....All depends on how well their vacuuming program is. This is where a pile lifter comes in handy. I did one job where they used host for 3 years in a row. Brought the pile lifter and the carpet was coming out so nice the manager said she had never seen the carpet so clean. Had to tell her this is just the vacuuming, I still have to clean it. Probably should have kept my mouth shut and collected the cheque.
I would think an encap O2 would be the ticket..Yes, yes you will.
After reducing the sludge built up over the years (a GREAT thing), you may benefit by lightly encapping it AGAIN to make it really pop and even it out.
I may have a line on one. I'll let you know.I’m still in the market for a pile lifter....

We made a lot of money at it that way. We primarily did floor finishing together, but a lot of it. You couldn‘t make her stop thoughThankfully my wife only helped for a short time at various time through the years. Never on a regular basis. definitely probably could’ve made more money in the beginning but we had a growing family. It is what it is.

Time to hire someone. Pay him well. Start him on empties and slowly work him into better jobs. Hire and fire until you get the right guy.Congrats on the big jobber.
My last Cal-Fire job made me realize how I've matured in this business. Or maybe i'm just becoming jaded and bitter. I used to get all excited when the big jobs came in. Now I just shrug and question myself if I want to answer my phone when I see the large jobs on my caller ID. Yes, the money is good, but doing all the work alone wears a guy out. This last 2-3 weeks have been crazy around here. A lot of the jobs I've booked are because I was the only idiot that answered his phone, (so I've been told).
My Asian Buffet and the Mongolian Grill want me to come clean them again. I just don't want to do it. Got one job today and then will try to get more welding done on my truck roof. Damn this work stuff gets in the way!
Sorry Jeff. I know I'm rambling. I'm out of dog food and coffee. I need to go to the store.

We have similar rules here. It's expensive but so is the alternative. I know I can't do this on my own for much longer. The big jobs scare me now as well. I don't look forward to the back aches afterwards, nevermind the hand and wrist aches. I am lucky that I have a couple of owner ops that I can share some jobs with but that can get more expensive than employees as well. Time to develop a plan. The only thing that holds me back from hiring is all the California compliance bullshit I have to deal with. More insurance, Workman Comp, payroll, Sick leave, jury duty, overtime, increased vehicle insurance. on an on. Good grief.
