Metal Coating

I am recoating the lower parts of my RX-20. So my metal coating guy is suggesting a thermoplastic coating instead of typical thermoset coating. He says the it is not as hard and brittle and more chemical resistant. 8.0-20 mil thickness instead of 1.0-3.5 mil. Anyone have experience with this? Can you see any reason it wouldn't be a good fit for the RX-20?

I would probably pay a shop to Rhino Line my RX-20's if I still used them.

They have several colors to choose from too.

i have rhino and line-x and i have always pushed rhino but it's not holding up as well as the line-x.
