Rolling your windows down shouldn't cause exhaust to be sucked through the roll up door. If that's the concern, try using some plastic to tape off the pass-through between cab and box.

Think about how much real estate the ramp door needs before you make that change.

I’ll find out more from the mechanic tomorrow. I’m just brainstorming about the ramp door. It’ll be either the two swing doors or the ramp. The roll up door is $1400

Can't imagine a ramp door being less than $1,400, but I haven't priced one. You might be able to get a roll-up for as little as $1,000, but it will be flimsy and noisy.
