Ok I've been messing with my relief valve forever.
It was set to 12hg originally and with a 100 feet of hose it would go to 9-10 hg with a wand on the carpet.
I set it to 14hg and with a sealed 100 feet of hose or a wand on the carpet it sat at 12 hg.
After awhile it dropped again I bought new hose cuffs and changed filters and tightened up my relief valve again this time setting it to 14 hg's with a 100 feet of hose sealed that helped for awhile.
Then it dropped again a week ago down to 10hg???
I opened up the lid and sure enough 2 small holes in my gasket.
So I ordered a new gasket in the mean time I glued the 2 spots with a glue gun so I can work.
The gasket apparently has been bad for awhile
Because when I sealed the machine at the truck with my rc99 filter and 6 feet of 2.5 it shot to 20hg and the almost stalled.
With a 100 feet of hose and wand on the carpet it sits between 14-15 hg and hot damn if the carpets aren't dry and the machine is hotter and it cleans like a mother.
I think my gasket had problems all along.
