I bought a 2002 Ford E-250 van a few months back, with pwr(power) locks, pwr windows, and pwr mirrors, with an amazing 26,000 original miles on it (Car Fax), with the original factory spare, which is also brand new. I am in the process of setting it up. Inside looks brand new; seats, dash, door panels, etc.
I will be installing my original #4 blower CT Truckmount, after prepping the hose reels for new primer and paint, along with the machine frame. I removed the factory insulated rubber floor mat and installed 3/4" pressure treated plywood over 40# roofing felt to act as a gasket for the floor, and re-installed the factory floor mat.
This is the third van this truckmount has been in, since 1985. It just won't die, not that I want it to.
I prefer to use a clean, older, low mileage van as opposed to a brand new one, because I get to keep more of what we make this way, as long as the machine is still providing more than enough power for all types of cleaning. This van was $4500.
I am also installing a new 100 Gal fresh tank which has a built in wand holder, to answer your question. That won't really help me though as we carry 3 wands all the time; 2 to use, and one for a backup, if necessary.
Good advice in this thread - ceiling is good as long as you are in the roof supports. If you can't be in the roof supports to put it right where you want it, bridge the roof support with another piece of steel to make a bracket for a wand holder.
