You need to forget about this knockoff Evo wand such a thing doesn't exist.

There are other plastic headed wands that are somewhat similar but you have the legit one and only Hydromaster Evolution wand so let's move on..

The line in this photo, is that what you're talking about in regards to streaking ?

that's pile distortion.

The spray bar on your wand could be improperly adjusted and your brass jets are likely worn out

Put some brand new steel Jets on it and adjust the spray bar/ manifold so that the Jets are striking right behind the Glide, even if its touching the Glide by 10% that's okay

Yes sir 🫡

Great advice, thanks Mike. You don't think those are clean streaks but rather pile distortion? If it was just pile distortion I'd imagine aggressive grooming with a black brush would correct it, but it didn't. Unless by pile distortion you mean the sort that is actually permanent damage?

This thread has drug along so long that I’ve forgotten what we’re talking about exactly, but I’m thinking somebody should have mentioned buying a new wand by now.

I semi tried, you gotta admit. My mistake was I used the word knockoff as if that would make a big difference.

When we wer talking about spray patterns of 2 (or more) jets hitting one another causes streaks this is an example of that. The two patterns meet and distort and put more soulition down where they meet (middle in picture)

Then why am I seeing 2 streaks directly beneath the 2 jets, and not 1 streak that is centered between the 2 jets?

I dont know. I bought a pile of attachments off ebay and was playing with um this afternoon and checking um out amd remembered this conversation but if you look closely at that picture , if that was a carpet tool i would expect it to streak in two places in the middle and to the left where the spray hits the side of the attachment and distorts the pattern. That particular attachment it probably doesn't really matter, its a hard surface tool
