What ever came of that wrinkled carpet?Agreed
More than one rinse pass along always.
Or the king of flushers, the RVBH.

So what was it that he did different?
it went back down but you could tell there was damage to the backing caused prior to cleaningWhat ever came of that wrinkled carpet?
Hard to beat a Powermatic with a Cleanco, no matter what chems are used.I was not there during their cleaning but I have observed them clean in the past. So I am just speculating.
I used a a Steam Way Powermatic (bought used from Mikey several years ago) using a kerosene burner along with starting 50 feet 2.5 inch vac hose to 2 inch to the wand and 3/8 inch solution hose. My wand was a 5 jet placed close to the carpet Greenhorn with number 2 sized jets that are old so they may be worn open to a larger size by now. Used a Greenglide hole glide. Basically high flow combined with high heat.
I mixed my prespray strong and concentrated and applied it liberally. I was using liquid Prochem Ultrapak spiked with a little powdered Flex. I used Proline powder carpet extraction detergent by Masterblend with about a 9.5 pH through my machine.
I believe the other cleaner has a newer Cleanco van powered truck mount. He used to have a 4 jet wand with smaller jets than I used and the jets were placed much higher off the carpet than my Greenhorn. So not as much impact, flow, or heat at the carpet wand interface. Not sure if a glide was used. Likely also pretreated with a Hydroforce inline sprayer and surely a different juice mixture. Not able to say how fast the wand moved or how many strokes or what if anything was used through his machine. But the opportunity to completely erase the clean line was clear.
I flush a lot. I never just use water. Only rarely clean on the acid side.
The reason I obtained a picture the same day we cleaned is because I went back to pick up my 4 dryers before a meeting that evening.
If you're not rinsing properly, you'll soon know it.
Unless you're an idiot who should be working for the government.
Like Nate said. Used the hoss both times. It was a good learning experience for my tech since I cleaned it and also for me.No RE Gene?

Hotel has been doing their own work with terrible equipment.
Manager said the boys have been cleaning and cleaning and cleaning... But couldn't get it clean and the smell...
Ugh!
Site tube never really cleared up.
Cut the losses... Make it look way better and hope you got enough of their stuff out
Interesting topic. I watch vids of guys screaming along with the wand ( various models) and even if they've lightly presprayed they arent rinsing enough. A wand, imo, is like a skill saw; you cant move it faster and expect it to work. Though many guys seem to make it work, at least gives the appearance.
I can make a vacuum plug too (pun intended :-) ); a vacuum can't be pushed faster and expected to efficiently work.
Those bus-turds. Now he'll disappear for another two years.
Hey Ron, you still pre-vac?
Is it worth it?
