had a last minute today. Customer spilled blue acrylic latex from landing to bottom of stairs. I tried pig crb then olefin ps spiked with citrus solve and crb and still not much change. Finally gave up. Customer had tried paint thinner and acetone before I arrived. Anything I'm missing or is it toast ? I got paid to try at least.

Quest Graffiti Gone

I find it on Amazon

Yeah, expensive, but a case lasts a long time and so far the best luck I have had with this type of situation

I found this at the jan supply. Unbelievable for ink out and other things. I used it for wine removal and works great. I do extract it out with water after. They make other items also. Made by Core pdts. 1-800-825-2673

As Steve's pic illustrates, white towels are a key tool.

As long as your getting color transfer to the towel, there is hope.

Try testing some different solvents with the towel to see which one is most effective based on how much color transfer there is.

I would take the winning product and put it in one spray bottle, and a general spotter in another sprayer.

Hit it first with the solvent being careful not to over penetrate by using too much, let it sit a minute, then hit it lightly with the general spotter, agitate it lightly with a towel, and then extract with an upholstery tool, and repeat.

Don't get too aggressive with the fibers.

A high pigment dark color like that may be difficult to completely remove, so test this on one spot to see how good you could get it and pre-qualify that result and your premium rate with the customer.

They are likely facing full replacement cost, so if it works on the test spot, your cleared for your Superhero rate..................

I couldn't find the thread that went with those pics so I found them in my phone.

But that blue that didn't come all the way out was where I tried solvent first so I wouldn't experiment too much. In fact the custys may have set it already. My customers didn't touch but called me instead. It did sit a couple days before I got to it and that little bit of blue came out more when I cleaned it with the TM.

Yep. I had another one yesterday. Red paint spill on poly. Full removal with bridge point gel break light agitation and rinse extract. Slight red stain after that was fully removed with red zone and steam. I felt abit vindicated. Lol. But different kind of paint than the other job so. Always a challenge.

$226 comes with a Paper Bag.
Goof Off give me a screaming Headache even with adequate ventilation.
I use a general spotter first then a solvent. Perky or you could use your TLC.
I know it slows down the solvents effectiveness but fills fibers with water based first I've never had any spot de-laminate using that process.
Solvent first is IFFY!
I would also use High Heat maybe even a stair tool to loosen it up before trying the spot procedure.
