this is my rifle. there are many like it but this one is..... oh, wait.... thats for a different forum lol. this is my current carpet setup at my main job. only used it a few times so far, but its gonna be a regular task now. i used the betco cleaner and powr fllite xtract-7 to pre treat. the unbelievable was just with it, havent tried yet. i like how the machine works so far, except for the dual circuit mess. i dont know a whole lot about this stuff. what do the pros think about any of this stuff? im using it to judge what im going to buy for my personal use in the future. got many suggestions for pex500, and i think thats in the lead for know. let me hear some opinions please

Any more specs or pics of the guts? 3 switches I assume 2 vacs and a pump based on the two cords..
i thinks its powered by anguish and despair- works better after you spend 45 min searching and trying out different outlets. one vac, not sure hp, but it does ok job, 2nd outlet is either for heater element or pump, but i think its heater, which does get cookin pretty fast, so it's probably drawing some juice. i can get some pics of its insides this week, maybe later today... used it this afternoon and it only extracted 1/2 my time on what should have been a "day off". still had to work other job later lol. i suspect thats due to my boss not knowing jack about carpet either and tossing me to the wolves with some "basic bitch chemicals". im making the science experiment research stuff a priority for next week or 2- i gotta start somewhere i guess?! bummed the carpets didnt have noticeable improvement- which is all property management cares about. kidding aside, water was black when i emptied recovery tank- so it does extract dirt. im just too fresh to knowwhat a gummy stain is from or what removes it.... i do know the wand doesnt cast spells... tried "bitch be cool" spell on boss- nothing. then tried "abraca-gtfo-mycarpet". also didnt work.

The pex 500 will be a better machine. Get the one without heat, you will have better vacuum performance. If you feel you need heat, get a separate inline heater with its own power cord. Although I have inline heaters, I rarely use them. The hot water from the building I am in is hot enough. There is better chemistry out there. Make sure you have defoamer. Spray it periodically in the vacuum hose while you're cleaning.

Electric heat is for the birds.. Too much effort for little outcome.. I'd do a dual 3 stage vacs with pump..

2 cords are standard for a decent portable and plugging into different rooms helps (separate circuits).. I've gone as much as 5 plugs so quit complaining..

Since it's not your business, I'd just keep doing what you are doing and see how you can just make it easier..

2 separate circuits is usually pretty easy. One in the kitchen and one in the hallway or somewhere else will usually cover you. Commercial can be tricky. You never know what's on a certain circuit. Best to find the breaker panel before you start. Good question to ask when doing the estimate as some are located elsewhere in the building, not necessarily in the unit you are cleaning.

my problem now is this is for my regular job where i dont have contact with property management. have to go thru supervisor, who is difficult to get in touch, when i do getting info i seek is equally tough. last building i was in had one circuit in lobby i worked, and next circuit behind locked door i didnt have key to. some places have keycards which are no problem, but keys are usually in someone's possession at another location (logical) and copies a sparse. half time nobody knows who has what keys... its really fun!
i like suggestions for no heat and 3stage vac though. i gotta get the chemistry down. i didnt pass chem 1 after only showing up to class 3 times for nothin! free electrons , static electricity, surface tension... strong vs weak bonds...( maybe 15% of any of that is useful.)
i guess its time to search archive for chemistry posts. thanks gents.... pex500 is back in the lead on my wishlist.
