x2 @Able 1 ... I got some older hose but our local shop doesn't have SS crimps so the steel ones rust out in about 6 months...
No video needed.. Here is an old one:

The piece on the left screws on to your hose (reverse thread) then screw the other piece in all the way..

I miss the increased heat retention of Parflex and the weight difference. For several years I've resorted to replacing 50' of my steel braided every 6 months. New section goes to font of the line next to my tools and all others get pushed back. I like the way steel braided goes on my reel.

I used to use those to patch up hose blowouts on hydraulic lines.

Nice having a parker store in town. Every once in a while, I have them cut off a foot and put a new fitting on. Cheap too!

I have one in my neighborhood too that sells hose, but they have to special order this carpet cleaner hose if i want it. Good idea on getting them to put new fittings on.

No other shop in town will put fittings on parker. I clean for the guy who own's the Lincoln and Omaha Parker stores....he says the lawyers are to blame for no one else being able to touch parker stuff.

I don't find them to be very reusable. They don't cut into the hose the second use. They are a life saver to have onboard. Never used the paraflex, so they may get be reusable for that.
