What do they do for the 300........ Is there a way they will waive it? Want to get on board.

The setup fee helps to cover our upfront costs related to storage, data transfer, and data migration. We spend a great deal of time to make sure we get your data in ServiceMonster as clean and complete as possible. In many cases, the $300 falls short covering these costs. If you cancel during our money back guarantee (30 days) we lose money. If you cancel within the first 90 days (even without a refund) we lose money.

It's important to recognize that, as a software vendor that hosts your service, our continued viability is definitely within your best interest. If we took a 8 or 9 month loss on every subscription, we wouldn't be around for very long.

btw, it's worth every penny, if you make it work for you. That's the other side of the coin, if you have skin in the game (paying the setup) you're much more likely to get trained and use ServiceMonster effectively, sooner.
