Treat it like olefin.
I believe Mikey has this in his house.
Giggle!
However, I did not test fluorochemical for durability to foot traffic and to the abrasion of a beater bar vacuum. The introduction of Forever Clean is a tacit admission that they needed a fluorochemical to limit the bonding of oils to the triexta fiber.
I know what househusband means tooIs that the only word that you know?
You use the silk scarf as a napkin afterward.Mill applications are always more durable than field applications, no matter the fluorochemical. The cleaning test with high pH for Forever Clean was impressive as nylon would have shown degradation to the protector after 3 cleanings with high pH. It also shows that fluorochemical will bond to polyester, olefin and triexta fibers. It will do nothing to improve wear, but it will limit bonding of oils and subsequent re-soiling to some degree. Putting a silk scarf on a pig is one way of putting it. It is an insult to a pig as it was one of my favorite farm animals as I was growing up. Also ham, bacon and sausage are some of my favorite meats.
