used Goodyear steel braided before. on occasion the heat from the hose would put lines in the carpet I could not even get out with my CRB. Thats why Id prefer not to use it.

With your Titan, you should be able to reduce the heat to prevent that. But for steel braided, if you don't keep your water moving, there is always that possibility of those lines.

I'm assuming that all steel braided have an inner liner??? Or else you'd get RUST when you 1st pull the trigger.....am I wrong? I threw all my grey hose away for that very reason when they got old...

Joe B. Sent me a sample of this. I haven't bought any yet, but I'm considering it.

That's a pretty high temperature rating. Most are only 250 degrees.
It's probably a lie...
Eaglewash offers the same 300F rating. The number stamped on the hose doesn't mean 300F constant heat. The hose temp ratings stamped are only for heat that is spiked for a short period of time

That's probably a hose rated at 212F constant heat

My Cleanco, after 15-20 minutes running, is PINNED @ the TM to 240 ( the highest the gauge goes). it’s blazing hot, not measured ATW. I opted for the ‘post thermal increase’ when I ordered it. All I know is, I can’t touch ANY metal parts on my wand at all…. My helper uses a rag to move hoses (goodyear Neptune), and I have issues on almost every job I do. It tattoos almost any carpet it touches. We have learned to keep it moving constantly, and where we can’t move it, we use towels to protect surfaces.
I overspin my rig by about 600 RPMS… and have been doing that for over 7 years.
Yeah, I know ‘you’re going to crater the machine’…. Well, it’s been over 5800 hours , and nothing yet…

Shut up Marty. I run it like I like it, my machine, MY CHOICE.
