speaking of vac hose

so I use the lightweight vac hose which is much easier to use, but also is not as durable. Yes it does take the beating of extreme cold. BUT I have found that every once in awhile the hose right by the wand fails and I have to cut off 6”. Now thats not a big deal but I was wondering if there is some type of covering I could put over that part of the hose to eliminate that problem. Kinda like a Hose Bend Restrictor for Vac hose?

Would also love to have a more durable 2 inch to 1.5inch tapered hose. Throwing them away in all 3 vans as they keep getting permanent crush marks.
