Too bad it doesn't have this valve, i really don't care for this tool. And only use it on the rare occasions that i have to do an auto or rv interior. What i really really really love about it is that it has an continuous adjustable bypass. It keep the solution super hot all the way up to the valve itself .
The stainless needle valve on the side manually controls how much solution if any is bypassed

We chose to put the circulation valve on the other end of the hose

Keeps the weight and heat out of your hand, when needed, which it usually isn't

I retrofit all upholstery tools with this at the head no heat in the hand and you dont have to reheat up to 20' of internal hose to get hot soulition to the upholstery. Send me your mailing address again, Im gunna send you one to try. Its plug n play the little piece of teflon hose is there to slow the velocity from the bypass jet to prevent it from blowing holes in the vacuum hose I've had bypasses at both ends and found the ones at the head are truly the best . Try it unlike my stairtool youll love this!

I can't even begin to imagine the amount of hair and lint that collects on all that

1% of carpet cleaners with ever think to open it up and clean it out after every job

The need for heat that intense at the head means you didn't vacuum apply your preconditioner, agitate and let dwell time do its thing..
