Your right, I've used plastic water tanks in the past. I just couldn't imagine one on a Vortex, due to the engineering- heat exchangers, panel mounting brackets; the package as a whole. IMO, I just don't think they could make it happen and I'm not a big fan of plastic.

The big advantage is the loss of weight. Also you can see the water level. You can also bung it anywhere you want.

Shawn, Not all trucks with taller boxes are scratch or dented. That is the ones that are driven by someone who takes care of them. 8)

Sorry Bob, the boss told me to apologize to you. But im still not a fan of plastic and i would have to see it to believe it.

Truck was under construction sorry about the mess but you get the idea. 150 gallons 26 inches in diameter.

Nice set-up, I just can't see how a plastic tank can be used with a Vortex. The way the set-up is, with heat exchanger inside the tank, etc.

Vortex 8000Q has been reconfigured with fresh tank and no heat element inside. It kind of wraps around the waste tank that is round like the other ones. Puts more weight onto the back axel instead of right next to the cab. Water weighs about 8 lbs. a gallon.
