Get the rubbermaid blue wax bucket and the 18” rayon flat mop on a dust mop ring and handle, and now you can really fly. All that is a little pricey to start, but if you want to do a lot, it’s the only way to go. Now you know why I pull a trailer

Most of the floor guys use a Tennent or Nobles or something with the squeegee on the front and push it around. When Diana was on the #truck with me, I wanted to buy one for her. She nixed that real fast. She said, I don’t want to push a tank full of water around. She just used the Kiavac Squeege wand and 50’ of hose. Actually it was effortless. (says me)

I actually have some type of squeegee machine that came with a truckmount and equipment that I bought in 2015. I've never used it though.

Go to Webresturant site or just type Rubbermaid blue finish bucket and it will pop up. Same for the flat finish rayon mops. That wet vac will get you started. It’s heavy. That’s why I like Ridgid. They are light and powerful.

Oh I see your wet vac system now. You can dang sure try it out. That’s the type I was talking about that Diana didn’t want If it sucks, and the squeegee is good, that is MUCH better than ruining a porty!! You probably would need to use the hard surface tool in hard to reach areas such as behind toilets.

I'm always broke, and I actually already have a couple of those shop vacs and they are a pain in the ass to dump, when you run them till they are full water poors out the hose when you unhook it and then it spills out the vac port. The hose get twisted and when you try to untwist it the machine sometimes tips over.

With my portable I can run 25 - 50' of hose, it's easy to drain, and I can use a decent wand.

I also use that old portable for rinsing the slurry. I use a neutral floor cleaner for that.

I had an EDIC porty and it wasn’t worth 2 cents as a porty. 110 psi I started using it as a vacuum for slurry and might’ve lasted 6 months. You couldn’t clean it enough. That crap gets in the vacuum motors and soon it just craps out

my old Ninja is still going but I probably don't do as much wax removal as you. Bearings are going in one vac motor but still works. I still have a couple of spare motors in the shop.
