Greetings to all , I have read some post on floor finish for VCT.

I have look at Diversey Signature and Diversey High Milage.
1,5000 sq. ft. I will strip and recoat is a break area and there are close to 200 people walking thru.

Any suggestion on the two floor finish or any other finish.

Thanks for your time.

Signature is very good as a medium maintenance UHS floor finish. You'll need a high speed burnisher for that one.

My personal favorites are from Pioneer Eclipse. They have top of the line coatings! I really like Equinox if you're planning to burnish on a semi-regularly basis. Otherwise I'd go with WonderGlo which works well with minimal maintenance.

depends if it it high or low maintenance. If they arent gonna have you back use any high solids (25%) wax. I like the thin wax because it dries faster. jon don carries a wax called brilliant 25 that looks great after only 4 coats . If you want a cheap wax that will do the job go to sams club and get their floor finish, the price cant be beat and I hear it isnt that bad

Thanks for the info.

Yes, I think I will be servicing the floors at least once a week.

Personally like Betco Best but it is pricey for a new guy. Would suggest johnson vectra or Betco hard as nails until you figure out what is what.

2 safe bets.

Can't go wrong with Pioneer Eclipse, used their products for many years.

We use Airkem Laser by EcoLab now, NOT to be confused with the EcoLab product sold at Sam's. Laser saves us WAY more in labor than the slight higher cost per gallon over some other finishes. Four coats outshines 8-9 of the others.

We did several jobs over the weekend, and I love that the first comment tomorrow morning will be: "it looks WET, when can we walk on it?"

Thanks for your replay Shane

I ask some of the same question on the other site " T.M.F"
but I did not get thru.

I think I’m a little nervous because it’s my first time and I want it to be right.
I read some of your and Locko post and I think I’m going to get Diversey High Mileage or Signature.
Even if I pay a little more for the finish

Thanks for all your help

Thanks for everyone’s help. Any other tips will be greatly appreciated.

I will post the pics next Monday
