Davinci made a helicopter back in the 1500s...a little more horsepower or a different shaped blade and the world may have been a different place

We could be cleaning carpets from above?

Repel down with wand in hand. Use rotowash to dry carpets before you leave.

hydrogen powered turbine. Your fresh water would be your fuel. Super small footprint and easy maintenance.

Hydrogen fuel cells all ready exist in a format that can power your van, your cleaning unit and heat your water. Right now it's pretty pricey but it can be done.

lol! Hang in there, Fred!
It’s all good. I write calls on my entire position

Over the last month I’ve closed my $200+call strikes and sold new ones at lower strikes

2012 and 2016 has similar drops

Apple option contracts pay great cause it’s such a highly traded and speculative stock

I like leveraging my position and letting the bulls place their bets!

That's the goal for me this year, start learning options.

Look into Selling options. It requires capital to cover positions or a margin account

It’s a prudent way to make money

There’s some great info on thebluecollarinvestor.com

Buying options is for hedging and speculative trading

"game changer" being defined as having a "major impact" on how it's done
Examples;
The upright vac w/roll brush...instead of sweeping w/corn broom or beating hung over a line

more recent....HWE systems replacing rotary brush shampoo as mainstay of the industry

are there any "revolutionary" changes like the above on the horizon ?

Not talking "improvements/enhancements" in performance of gear and juice in dry vac, sCampoo and HWE

Talking real game changers in method and/or tools that will change the industry

..L.T.A.
National price fixing scheme where every carpet cleaner charges Scruz prices and those who don’t get their tires slashed daily.

More than likely the next big thing is more and more flooring types that dont need professionals to clean them

Almost no one here could make ends meet on hard surfaces alone.

Grainless LVP, disposable rugs, epoxy grout, real wood for rich and not enough carpet to keep more than a few per city busy.
That's looking like the long term reality that may be sooner than we want to admit. I wouldn't want my nephews going into this industry, too many other options.

I had a '69 VeeDub bug in '82

it was a POS
but went great in snow

Germans make good stuff, but it's over complicated .
It doesn't cost $1300 to change a thermostat on a Lexus

How many miles you got on the autobahn?

I got to drive quite a few different vehicles including a Porsche 911 my pilots car. In Germany they are geared different so your Audi isn't the same as one oversees. Big difference.

Or have to lift the motor in a chevette to change a spark plug.

Most vehicles are over engineered I think.

But my experience with German machines is they are built to last.
