I cleaned 2,000 sqft yesterday with an RE 12 steps.

I was with the Encap crew two weeks ago and we cleaned 35,000sq/ft.

The Desk sucks! Get on your knees and give thanks to being out and about. I sure miss it. : (

G'day everybody.

Just took delivery of my shiny new 360i from the auction here recently. I cannot possibly imagine using a wand to run my business. Everybody will specify their product and price point differently for different markets. My business needs me to make good use of my bookings, I can only really service 4 a day with the need to completely pack and unpack the taxi minicab twice per job.

I also have the issue of my body. Loading all that 8 times a day and then doing the work too is kind of punishing and can lead to an injury over the long term.

Then there is the issue of value. I want to provide a compelling value to my customer. Thoroughness is a way to increase my product's value.

So I Rotovac everything because it's one wand I can take to any job and do well. Granted I need to edge out manually, but beyond that no floor surface is out for reach to clean very thoroughly in a respectable time for minimal human effort.

I can do carpets, clean or trashed or tidy in more or less the same time for the same cost.

If your home is full of residue from previous failed cleans I can actually remove as much in one sitting as a wand clean will do over many visits. Its by no means practical to wand an area of carpet as many times as a rotary extractor can using just a human operator on a scrub wand.

I can capture my heat under a floor head which is itself under a plastic dome. All my heated water can reach the carpet with significantly less heat loss. So more chemical activation, better germ killing and deeper rinsing happen all at the same time.

I can use just 45 litres of water to clean an average Australian living room and a small bedroom too. The RV will recover 38 litres of this with no glides. So I am recovering carpet with - less - water and making it drier sooner for my customer.

I can lift up tired pile and dig out copious amounts of human and pet hair as casual as dry passing.

So for me its just a boon. I Rotovac all jobs to save me, my customer, my equipment, the carpet and the planet some money, sometimes time, and waste. All while it makes doing 4 jobs a day from a minicab deliverable.

It depends on your habits and technique. If I had to put number on it, I'd say 20% more. The brush head on the RotoVac may help to save water a bit because it's adding to the agitation part of the process.

Not may, does. I dropped my pressure from 500 to 300 and even that is probably too much.

I've always been using it around 350. The brush head has just made everything quicker and more even.

I just cleaned a 2 room residential, pretty well trashed with pet urine, and I almost completely restored it to new condition. Maxim was applied at the end too.

No way you could do what I just did without a RE.

Totally flushed, scrubbed and

CLEAN!

Ok! After a private message asking for my opinion, here it is.

I don't disagree with any of it.

I was just dizzy from the length of it.
Thanks...

Don't be afraid to speak up. I wanna improve.
