And fix that piece of shit they sold you yet....I can name THREE people that have or are about to change their minds on the brand they are considering right now.....
What a shame as a builder of the worlds BEST direct drive. .....I always considered Butler the second best unit made.....they're gonna take a major hit on this fiasco. ....

I agree Bob. This makes me very wary of their customer service. Mark has been left out to dry.

I don’t think Mark blames them!

I think he blames GM
I think mark is too damn nice. I had a major fallout with my Hydramaster 2 years ago AFTER the warranty expired, and they took responsibility for it. That was the main reason I chose Hydramaster in the first place, because of how well they support their products.

This thing still smells like new, and Butler is still blaming GM, just because...? The blame game is over. Butler sold Mark that entire unit. Butler needs to give Mark another unit to go to work until this is fixed

Before you have another heart attack put down that heavy pitch fork and lynching ropes

First off, mark did the correct thing and brought it to a GM dealer that is grossly mishandling the situation

He's a busy guy and by all accounts a very nice and reasonable man

He's taken the word of other men as fact .... but he forgot he was dealing with a car dealership which is essentially a den of weasels

I'd definitely insist on Butlers assistance at this point and not allow the GM dealer to even garage my new van .

I'm thinking about giving up the warranty and have my brother in law Gus pick it up and bring to his shop.

He was the head mechanic at Ford and one of the most respected mechanics in the area.

Problem is, if it's a complete motor or van frame and we are throwing money at it....it is just more money being thrown down a hole....

Rock and hard place....

GM said give them 2 to 3 more business days....I said NO!....well that didn't work so I have been waiting some more and another night of no sleep trying to figure this out....

Also to bring everyone up on Butler....

They have also made calls to other big wigs in GM, but the GM big wigs have been on vacation, and there was a big meeting a week ago for GM people....and they have not had any return calls back to them either.

My local dealer is to blame here really...and there is no way I would buy from them ever!

I am trying to decide...put it on a transport to?????

I still feel that you need to transport it to Butler. Why can't they give you a lender so you can go to work?

Butler. Even if it would cost you the freight it wouldn't be the same as breaking the warranty. See if Butler will pay the freight. If not see if they will split the freight.

Because he has a lot invested already and wants it fixed now. Mark probably doesn't want to run without a wrap so a loaner looks unprofessional to him and he has other vehicles to work with.
Warranty is worth crap right now. A lawyer will get the warranty reinstated.

At the rate Mark drives, how long is that warranty good anyway? Take it to your brother-in-law and get it fixed. I personally don't think its going to be anything major.

I believe the answer lies within the rear bolt holes of the crank. ...
If you can live with a Helicoil in one bolt hole....

Hope you find the right one......it would be the one that is missing!
Not sure I would wanna torque on a Helicoil. ....

Brian....having never met your daughter I suppose there could be an exception to what I said. ..but very few I'm sure. ...
We jus went through a five year ordeal concerning the wrongful death of our son in a nursing home....THEY KILLED HIM WITH 28 TIMES THE LETHAL DOSE OF HYDROCODINE.we learned first hand the lying double dealing behind the back deals and expense padding....did I mention LYING that is commonly practiced by most lawyers....
