Goomer, not as Whorid as your Portable- God Forbid, let's not discuss your cleaning stroke... from the looks of your assist handle- u like it from the rear... Right?

The video is a joke, the Cimex makes foam ( special thanks to Rick G the king of foam) and the CM "Cleans" (or buffs the dirt evenly courtesy of Steve S- LOL)

Paul, you have been selling a lot of equipment lately... Your step son, I mean partner driving you to the brink... or is your EL Diablo looking good after smearing in all that pee...

What do you believe to be the superior attributes of the Trinity over the Orbot?

First let me say that the Orbot is a good machine, and that I made money with mine when I used it. And I never used my Orbot with the weight kit, and I understand that it cleans better with the additional head weight.

I have found the Trinity machines to clean at least 25 percent Better and 25 percent Faster than either the Orbot or Cimex machines, and sometimes much, much more than that. The Trinity will often remove dirt and stains with one pass that I would often have to make several passes with the Orbot.

As to why it cleans better and faster, John would say that it's the larger obit, and I think he is right. Here is a video John made a few years ago comparing the orbits of various OP machines. I am pretty sure you have seen this video before.

I "think" another factor may be the brush pad driver on the Trinity instead of the Velcro driver on the Orbot. I "think" the stiff brush bristles of the Trinity pad driver digs into the Glad pads and thus digs into the carpet pile better than a flat Velcro pad driver.

I answered your question because I am, after all, trying to sell a used Trinity....but I will say again that I am not John's Sales rep. Just a supportive member of Mikey's Board selling a piece of used equipment.

Paul, what benefits will the Grumpy have over your CM you are selling? I ask because I wish I would of bought a CM instead of my Freedom. I can see where the CM would be faster than my Freedom on commercial carpet. However what is the big differences in the Grumpy vs CM besides being fancier looking? Either way you have a nice collection of tools to clean with!

Due to the fact you emphasize the importance of vacuuming as part of the process, and vary multiple absorbent pads in sequence, as opposed to being a "One-Pad-Wonder" like ChaVes, leads me to believe your at least a straight-shooter, despite your choice of methods in such situations.

If someone is going to go the route of VLM, then those are definitely the key points.

Thanks for answering.

You need to call me or ask John that question. While I love my Trinity's, John is currently banned here and I'm beginning to feel like his representative.

actually, Paul, it's my opinion that end users are far better than manufactures/salesmen with the financial interest
and in particular, knowledgeable/experienced ones as yourself

1"1/8 vs 6/8's total throw

because of the much larger throw it also greatly speeds up the rotation.

agitation = success :clap: lol

after using a high speed OP and getting used to properly cleaning with it ( not just running it at a trade show or for a few min on a job )
you will see what a pig the cimex is for chemical usage lol.
Cimex is a great machine, not saying its not. Just if you are buying a new machine today it would be smart to take a serious look at one of John's first.

My owned machine experience is orbots + weight kit, modded orbots, cimex's and various 175/300 rpm rotaries.

Because it eats Cimex's for lunch...

Kind of like your AT, Or Vortex...

In the porn industry it would be like a 8" limp $ick... U get the idea...

Bring it to FL for MF, or one like so We can test it...

It will be fun. Kind of like a Orgy for TM's... All are invited.

My next Challenge--- 5 min... Suck on my 1 1/2" hose....

Any Takers? Video of my hose and your Damage... But not My Machine... (I have Morals...)

Seriously? John's video shows a guy making a SINGLE pass with his Trinity machine. And then some inexperienced bimbo running a Cimex enters the frame. The Cimex guy looking like he's tripping over the cord, is applying too much solution, and is walking backward instead of doing a u-turn at the end of his pass - in other words he's a buffoon. And why was the video shot in the dark? Is this supposed to be a realistic comparison of the two machines??? What a joke.

Totally agree Rick, Everyone would agree with you. John had (has?) a habit of recording and posting amateur videos. This one is worse than amateur for the reasons you stated. Everyone here on Mikey's Board knows that the Cimex is a great machine for encapping. I do not know who Carpet Guy is or why he posted that video on this thread, someone trying to start trouble I suspect.

I'm trying to keep this thread from turning into a John Geurkink Thread, or a Trinity vs Cimex thread, or a low moisture vs. HWE thread. I am just trying to sell a used OP machine !!
