Upon going through their garage, I was once asked by the client if my price is going to reflect the Mercedes and Lamborghini parked in their garage.

I vehemently denied :winky:

.....cars
Artwork
Pictures of thier vacations
Landscaping
Furniture
Vocabulary

Come on Ofer...

Surely even you are familiar with the concept of debt and being financially over extended.

The "vocabulary" thingie, however, though patently wrong, is mentally a keeper. Hope after all, springs eternal :winky:

I think in areas of greater population building and building while continuing to raise your rates will eventually get you there!

And I also think being personable helps!

I mean seriously can you imagine Mike showing up to your house?

Lady Killer charm he calls it?

Most make a lot more than me. I would say on average the household total income is over $400k/year and plenty are way beyond that.

we do work in cookie cutter neighborhoods sometimes where homes are around $500-600k, boeing employees, lower level microsoft etc.

I'd say I'm well above the median.

I've exposed my client base far too many times on here. Just today I had to severely discourage a carpet cleaner who arrived at one of my many mobile home parks. He was going door to door pushing his truck force portable. I yelled out...........GET THE FOOK OUT OF HERE DIPSHIT OR I WILL COME AT YOU LIKE A SPIDER MONKEY!

About 5% of the population in Reno and sparks are making more than 200k per year. Since population combined is over 500k and projected to grow to 1.2 million within ten years.. I also allowed to work in my county in any of the unincorporated towns including Tahoe area. So population is definitely a lot more

So about 25k to 60k people that I can market to right now if I present myself correctly as Mikey says..

That's my average customer's monthly income

Some of you are being a bit obtuse

If your customers walk in closet is filled with $75,000 worth of clothes, the garage has $200,000 worth of cars, they live in 5,000 plus sq ft , have a beach home , winter home , boat, and the finest of furnishings, I'll grant you they have some debt...

But the also ain't making less than $300,000 / year

For every bozo that's on the brink of bankruptcy there are 50 ballers that are flush

"I don't judge on appearances. And I don't ask."

We have old ladies here who look dirt poor, but once you get to know them you find out they have tons of rental property and a few million in the bank. My grandparents lived that way. Drove old cars, wore old clothes, heated with a woodstove. They looked broke but had plenty.

I just signed up for a neighborhood exclusive magazine today. It targets 4 neighbourhoods I do work in already. These homes are anywhere from 850k, to 10 mil. I signed an 18 month contract for 200$ a month. Will it pay off? We shall see...

I got a call today from a lady that was behind me in the Starbucks Drive thru. She made me mad because she interrupted my ordering of a warm cheese danish. So I made her mad when I told her my minimum is $150.

3 calls, one books.
I really hope you are wrong on those numbers. There’s another guy that was doing it. He’s only stopped because he said he’s blown his rotator cuff. He was in the magazine for the last 8 years. I’m thinking of buying his client list.

which is still way better than than the lower class who only respond to discounts and to those who market deodorizing services..

dont get me wrong, I'm not talking about the uber rich, most communities only have a hand full anyhow, and their home managers certainly dont respond to coupons and facebook ads.
