They said it couldn't be done..

Tom Forsythe said hogwash and took the challenge..

• HIGH CLEANING POWER– will surpass all other acidic extraction agents, while rivaling the cleaning effectiveness of the best alkaline formulas, due to its excellent soil suspension and removal capabilities. The result will be reduced cleaning times and very satisfied customers.

• EFFECTIVE NEUTRALING RINSE - Designed for free rinsing and cleaning with all pre-sprays, including high pH products like Flex Powder with Citrus Solv. This neutralization improves bonding and performance of protectors and reduces problems associated with browning and bleeding.

• HIGHLY VERSATILE - Safe to use on all carpet and fiber types.

• HIGH CONCENTRATE, LOW COST - When compared to other acid rinses, it will save money. It is an 100% active powdered formulation resulting in more carpets being cleaned at a lower cost than liquid acid rinses

• EASY MIXING –Dissolves quickly in cold or hot water.

• LOW RESOIL -With the advanced formulation, any remaining residue will not attract soil. Its excellent rinsing capability also reduces the amount of soil remaining in the carpet reducing wicking.

• EQUIPMENT SAFE –**** *** has special additives that help limit corrosion and buildup in the extractor or truckmount, and at the same time, its buffered pH (5.5) is safe for use on 5th generation carpet

Come try this revolutionary new cleaning rinse along with Jim Pemberton and myself at the outside demos next week at MFE

Good question

This product is also a cleaner so side by sides on dirty carpet with no pre spray is one way.

Rincing out a de'limolene boosted prepray and feeling for residue by hand would another

Intually browning some natural fiber fabric and neutralizing..

Letting diluted product evaporate in a shot glass or Petri dish..

Misting some on clean carpet in YOUR home and observe for resoiling..

Gargle..

It will be a tall order to surpass the reigning champion, Magic Wand's Magic Potion with it's pH of 7 in a powder (Mikey Juice)

I don't put crap in my rinse water, just use FWR, but this stuff is excellent as a neutral prespray on upholstery, and it's a powder, which makes it very economical and convenient. Everyone should have this in their truck for wool carpets and upholstery.
I used some today on a sofa, the customer just wanted the front cleaned where her small dog rubbed against it.

1 oz of the Magic Potion in 20 ozs of hot water (which is a very strong concentrate) sprayed down
april photos 096.JPG

then hand bonneted with the remainder of the solution diluted in a bucket
april photos 098.JPG

Which pretty much fixed the problem, then rinse the crap out with the SS Upholstery tool

Came out good

I still have a problem with acid rinses while running a hydroforce with prespray. I don't like mixing them together. As far as nutralizing a 10 prespray with a 5.5 rinse, we will see. As far as cleaning on its own, I think hardball tried that. And it didn't work.

That one is peroxide boosted (whatever the powder chemical that releases peroxide once mixed with water).
For me it was not that good as a rinse as it baubles like crazy and overflows. Also once activated, the peroxide I assume will not stay active for long.

In all fairness, I haven't tried it as a rinse, once it settled and after a few days. Not bad as a pre-spray, due to peroxide.
Anyone not known as "Miracle Arrrt," I'd hesitate to do a partial sofa cleaning with it, as it color of clean/unclean area may not match. More so than tru to regular cleaning, due to peroxide.

Be interesting to compare it to Prochem's All Fiber Deep Clean-
All-Fiber-Deep-Clean-S103-2T.jpg

Though, due to it being a powder, in my book that's an advantage.
Will it have the Wool Safe label?
Does it stink? (ahamm..........have a perfume) please NO perfume.
Any other certificates (DfE, etc).
What's the SDS- health rating?

I know who Shawn Forsythe is, who the hell (and I mean it in the friendliest way) is Tom Forsythe?

Mix it in your head pack(5gl thing) with only 2 gallons of water in it, after the volcano add the rest of the water.:)

For me the product was magical! Worked fantastic as a rinse.... However, unfortunately(for me) it also seemed to eat my flipping brass. Found out later it's a good idea to rinse my rinse at end of day....

Maybe I got a bad batch but it completely destroyed my brass Dwyer meter plus when I tried to use it as a prespray it wouldn't desolve even in 200 degree water. I strained it through a tea strainer and most didn't break down. Pulled it from the truck completely.mi even took pictures and a few videos if anyone is interested.

I've had no trouble with the Magic Potion dissolving, from the first test batch I received then this one I bought last December. It's cool to mix it and watch it boil over

lots of chemical activity, then I poured it into the trigger sprayer. I've only used it in pump sprayers and trigger sprayers with no problems but I wouldn't trust it in a chemical draw system and I wouldn't add it to my fresh water tank like I occasionally do with alkaline emulsifiers because of the acidic nature of the product and what that could do to brass parts.

Is it possible to develop a rinse that's GOOD for the metal parts?

Maybe a dumb question?

I'm interested to check out the Mike Powder!

Yeah mine does that too. Here's 2 scoops in a gallon of 180+water left over night. Look what still didn't break down. I finally gave up using it. The cup is just from that day's waste.

That's weird; I can put 1 scoop (1 ounce) into a quart of hot water and it dissolves completely and I can trigger spray with it immediately, and when I check it a few days later it is still completely dissolved. Either you got a different batch then the two I have used or your water is harder then the tap water I use. Something is very odd there. You should contact Magic Wand and find out wazzup.

Art I had 2 containers. One was fine but this was the second. Consistancy is important to me. Something is definitely off. They need to check their quality control. I've heard complaints about other suppliers before but this is the first time I've ever had a problem. Whatever was in that container doesn't all dissolve and eats brass like mad. Fiber plus dissolves every time and is my go to product for a rinse. I've been using it almost since day one.
