Schools closed two wks here. Tp and other foods are being sold when available by two packs no hoarding permitted.

Obviously no one will know if whole family split up to buy two each. O well I’m booked solid for quite sometime.

What ever happened to you and your wife moving to Kamloops Willy? There are some jobs I’m doing in the Okanagan that I would LOVE some help on...

We're looking after my wife's Dad. He's really starting to fail both mentally and physically. My wife is taking her retirement in June so she can look after him a little better. Poor dude watched a repeat hockey game the other night and swore up and down it was live. I don't think he's long for this world. And than Kamloops (And Nova Scotia too)

Uh..Bob...I'm asking this in the deepest respect and understanding that you once led an ..."exciting life"...

What might have been your state of mind in 1972?

I don't remember any meat shortage.
I can ask my dad we was a meat cutter then

Where????
8:07 p.m. Expired licenses, vehicle registration won’t be enforced: Gov. Gavin Newsom said state officials are waiving the enforcement of expired licenses and vehicle registration for at least 60 days in order to “relieve anxiety,” allow people to obey social distancing protocols and reduce crowds at the Department of Motor Vehicles. He encouraged people to use online or traditional mail to complete other DMV services during this time.

7:22 p.m. Newsom moves to halt evictions: Gov. Gavin Newsom issued an executive order authorizing local governments to halt evictions for renters and homeowners who fall behind on their payments because of the coronavirus. The order lasts through May 31. “People shouldn’t lose or be forced out of their home because of the spread of COVID-19,” Newsom said in a statement. “Over the next few weeks, everyone will have to make sacrifices — but a place to live shouldn’t be one of them. I strongly encourage cities and counties take up this authority to protect Californians.” Earlier Monday, San Francisco and Alameda County suspended all evictions.

That doesn't seem to be this:

" suspending all rent, mortgage, and utility payments "

and I don't know how it is there but here , from what my wife tells me, it is sort of moot because the courthouse is basically shut down.

Yeah Fred, It's out there somewhere. My wife and I saw it on the news tonight. Maybe just knee jerk reporting. Things are changing by the hour.

This here is the best article I've read so far. Really goes into detail on the virus.

Weather is an issue too. When it's cold and rainy the phone doesn't ring.
But when that sun comes out and warms up people will come out of hiding. They are getting tired of nothing but doom and gloom on TV.
Sitting at home I'm sure it's starting to stink for many. Maybe they will call when it stinks bad enough.

"Hey everyone I just wanted to say that it will get better. We live in Taiwan. We went through the 30-day shut down in late January through February. No schools and it was a ghost town. Didn’t leave my house.

I know it makes you feel anxious, fearful, worried, and like you are on the set of an outbreak movie - trust me - those are natural human responses just don’t stay stuck there. Trust God and trust the process.

30-day shutdowns work! Quarantine and hygiene- it works. Taiwan only had 47 cases in total and only 1 death. All 46 other recovered fully. No new live cases. Shut down quarantines and social distancings work!

Life will get better and resume. It may not go back to the way things were for a while, but on the other side of this are better days. Be encouraged, know that God never sleeps (Psalm 121) so you can. Wearing a mask everywhere use to give me panic attacks because I have asthma and I felt like I couldn’t breathe, but it was really mental because the environment was just overwhelming. It does get better.

Look at the shut down as a staycation. Hang out with your kids, binge watch movies, make your favorite recipes. Maybe God wanted to get our attention to focus on what matters and who really matters!

2 weeks or 30 days, it goes by quickly. Pray, meditate, stay in your homes, stay calm, and wash your hands.

And pray for those who still have to go out and serve. My husband had to go to work every day during the shutdown and lead. It is scary but I promise there are better days.

Be encouraged!" - Juanita Ingram, Esq.

We just booked 11 moveouts for one complex that need done asap. It's one of the places that corporate wanted them done in-house. So instead of us doing them as they became empty we get them all at once now because they can't get them done.
Regular janitorial picked up at the dealership. They have a week long sale so we will clean 6 nights instead of 3.
Finishing up a new construction and have 2 more waiting.
Very little residential carpet cleaning but that's normal this time of year.
Contractors are wrapping up kitchen. Took a couple walls out and new tile and cabinets.
We don't go out much anyway so it all seams normal to us but went to Wal-Mart last night and a few people with facemask and a lot of empty shelves.
Got the last pack of the good toilet paper at Meijer a few days ago. The ultra strong!

I don't even want to work today. The schools are out but my wife had to go in still. The school staff is making three weeks of lesson plans and forming a plan on how to instruct the kids from home. All of the kids in her school have a Chrome Book assigned to them so a lot of instruction will be online.

One thing is shocking to me, In my wife's district 85% of the kids on the "Free" school lunch program. She said some parents are freaking out about feeding their kids. SMH!
