All that "tamping" means that it will shake things off the walls

How is it not fully touching the carpet? The machine is like 110 lbs. What is the depth of the washer, and how many tamping per rotation?
Of course the pad will still make contact with the carpet, but just not with the full head weight.

Head weight is very important.

On the leading edge takes advantage of the 70 pounds, or so, of head weight.

Anybody ever use a melamine pad on a TRS machine? That’s where the difference will be obvious. Only the outer portion of the pad will should wear. Less wear toward the center.

I actually enjoyed talking with him. His marketing sucked, but whatever

I just want people to think before buying. Some love TRS machines.

I’m only saying “tamping” is a crock of shit.

I’m not griping, I’m saying take out the stupid washer and it cleans better.
Ask me how I know.

While you’re at it, ask Ashley McKendree how he knows.

Nice try but that still wouldn’t put the full head weight equally on every square inch of the pad.
It’s really not hard... remove the driver and you’ll see the three bolts. Underneath one is the offset washer that tilt the driver a little.
There’s actually a video where the TRS guy takes apart that whole piece and shows you the washer.

Well, since you mentioned Ashley, i believe you.
You wrote that I’m the only person who gripes about the tamping, which you know isn’t true, so I reminded you about a CCP conversation you had with Ashley.

all it told me was, CRB's ain't "all that" ...but I already knew that.
If he'd of slowed down on the vac, and did it in the time it took to CRB and vac..and emptied the Sharka couple times, he'd of got just as more and more

the pad caught a little debris

but do commend Steve on a "better" VLM clean

Steve, do you post vac after mopping up?

No, actually, all OP's dont do that. If you have any OP experience and/or ever have ran Trinity, you would know Trinity is far superior to its competitors.
Nice lip service and your preferred narrative has been around a long time.

I’ve used all of them and owned a Spyder for a year.

The Orbot will out clean a Trinity, albeit, a bit slower.

The Mytee is as fast as a Trinity but cleans a bit deeper, as the driver is not moving so fast that the pad sort of skims over the carpet.

Every OP I’ve used needed cleaned up after cleaning because the oscillation digs into pile and pulls up debris.

Nothing to do with a washer under a bolt.

it's entertaining to hear Trinity's side of the YOUR story...

reality check, if you buy Chris' BS, take out the washer and put your TRS unit at speed 1 and you too can be a slow poke.

The Phoenix is an amazing machine.

a true pleasure to run an deal with.

You don’t want to go down that road... trust me. There are two sides to every story and I’m happy to voice my side, but it’s has nothing to do with removing a washer to make the machine clean better.

I haven’t bashed TRS at all. Just that the “tamping is silly.

I wouldn't trust a Mytee page moderator with a sack of turds...

#washerluv
You must realize people see right through you, right?

You must realize people know when you’re being compensated by whichever product you endorse, right?

I only said you might want to remove the washer so the machine cleans deeper.

I haven’t gone out of my way to talk up the Mytee machines.

If anything, I’ve talked up the Orbot machines.

You’re so predictable and so obvious.
