Not sure. I guess I am assuming it would be that same engine as the SS 570 or similar.
Just looking it up. The 570 uses the wg972. Almost 1 liter. So that is the issue. Not enough power for the 47 blower. Too bad, it would be a great competitor for all the other ones. Doesn't seem like much of a difference but I guess it is.

:headscratch:

You mean at lifts greater than blower spec? 47 blower (roots URAI) takes about 18 HP....not a ton of headroom but it could be done

Steam actions specs lead me to believe they are using a smaller engine....maybe this (max hp 750cc range engine I could find....23hp full tilt)?

It says .75l Kubota

which 750cc Kubota puts down 29hp?

Is that a typo?
Actually, Sammy Sales may have said the Kubota in the Raptor only makes 27 or 28 hp. I specifically asked him why he doesn’t use a 47 blower in the raptor and he said because the smaller Kabota is not powerful enough.

The Kubota in the 570/575 is a bit bigger and makes 32ish hp.

I believe they claim 29 hp. I think they would be better off using the 972 and a 47 blower.
