Yes, I'm aware. I certainly wouldn't use my porty at 250 or even 75, that would be my TM😀 It would
clean better than an opee. I could sound like Larry🤣

Nasty day outside

35 degrees Heavy Rain Wind Damp Cold and Miserable

But my Van Doors are closed and customers House Door is closed. No heat getting out or cold getting in

Working in Bad Weather is much easier and better using the VLM Method

And carpet will be dry in 1-2 Hours

One of the girls that works at my Apt Complex is moving into a new home and she asked her favorite carpet cleaner ME, to freshen up the carpet before she moves in

Nice Big House with Nylon carpet

I used Carpet Details at 4 oz and Detonator ( Peroxide ) at 4 oz

WORX Sprayer with 8003 Teejet

Light Blue Microfiber Bonnets and Tankless Vibe with 3 weights on each side

Soft White Brushes on CRB's to scrub and Groom

Life is BETTER using the VLM Method !!!

Living The Dream, when you pre-spray at 400 psi do you think that you get the backing of carpet and possibly the pad wet ?
You do realize you are getting the pad wet also right? Gravity and all.

But with hwe you can remove most of your detergent with the soil not just grind it deeper and spread it around.

Carpet manufacturers still overwhelmingly recomend HWE. You can very easily damage fibers with all that scrubbing. You can change the texture. Ive done it with a crb and a buffer even a little with my wand and hot water.

If you are 55yo+ you are eligible for vlm cleaning, not because it cleans better but because it's easier on the frail aging body..

Now if you can just get Mikey and whoever else to put it in the cleaning standard..

Vonshrader is a good option too.. Do you offer Host as well? Capture perhaps?

Do you post vacuum after HWE

HWE leaves a lot behind. Dirt and powder residue

HWE takes longer to dry so you can't post vacuum but what you should do is ask your customer to vacuum the next day

And customer should vacuum the next day after VLM too

I don't usually post vacuum but I do CRB to groom

LESS water MORE agitation !!!

Nate, I'm 64, Stronger then most 1/2 my age! Truck mount cleaning is easy. not tuff at all. Why do you think it is hard ? Steam cleaning can be fast and easy . I think VLM clean as good or BETTER in most case ?

Steve, If you say so!?
You know if you really really really believe vlm is the best and you want to convert the masses take my 100oz silver challenge, beat my ass and once and for all show us which process is truly the best. 100 oz of silver says you can't get my shop carpet cleaner than me and my homemade rug soaker
Dwain, Where is your shop located at ? I like a good CHALLENGE !

I would like to hear about the type of work you turned down..

I've mentioned it before here but in my hustle days in Santa Cruz when I was first starting out I would often see Rob Rocha buzzing around in his white mini pickup that a simple fiberglass shell and I don't quite recall his name but all he had was a 175 and whatever bonnets were popular at the time.I think the can dry style polysor two to three inch thick bonnets we're getting replaced with thinner more effective and aggressive varieties.

We both pulled over at a beach overlook probably at lunch time one day and I think I was commiserating with him about the nasty pet job I just left and I asked him how he dealt with those situations and his reply was "I don't"

I don't think I even remotely understood it at the time as I was young and hungry and my water claw and I were out the conquer the world at that point.

While I am now emotionally and physically capable of running a low moisture only business, to be honest I still don't feel good about it with most residential services, especially ones with kids and pets and it would bother me not to be able to effectively clean corners and under furniture in the long edges and there's just something about watching that ooze come out of your waist tank hose at the end of the day with a certain level of disgustingness that no pad will ever be able to extract...

But that's not to say there are plenty of customers that never do disgusting things to their carpet and padding is more than enough to keep them happy and maybe more importantly keep my conscious even cleaner..

Ultimately I think a true professional multi-surface cleaner should have a truck mount and all the low moisture options.
Mikey, in 10 years I've never turned away a job, related to my cleaning ability. I've turned away because they wanted me to move furniture i didn't want to move, or maybe other circumstances. the Question i would ask? How many pads will it take to get the carpet clean??? When it comes to VLM it's how many PADS will it take to get it to come clean? If you have the time and pads CLEANING IS THE EASY PART!!!

I don’t use an in-line sprayer much these days, though I will in certain situations. I’m pretty careful and controlled with how I apply pre-spray, but to answer your question honestly, yes, I’m sure that at times the backing and even a bit of the pad get wet.

If this guy takes the challenge, we could certainly use a good judge
That carpet would be fun to clean! IT would take a minute or two to get it to look good. But i think i could make it happen.
In last 45 years of cleaning, i have done one or 50 of those , not hard to get it out ! Steam or VLM.
Dwain, thanks for the offer but living in Florida, maybe next life! "Remember, it's only 1 inch of carpet fiber .We are not flying to the MOON!!!

Living the Dream with TOTAL Honesty

Thank You !!!

Have you ever tried the WORX Sprayer ???

If I was still HWE I would be using the WORX

They are reasonable priced and last a long time

You need 2-3 batteries just in case but one battery usually lasts all day, and you need to charge at the end of the day, but still worth it

Adding a Multi Sprayer Wand to WORX and teejet makes it the BEST Sprayer for VLM or HWE. My opinion

I have different wands with different Teejets for every situation I run into

I mostly use 8002 or 8003 but have 8004 8006 for big rooms so I can move faster or for trashed carpet when I need to put more solution down
