Oh God!! Here we go again!!! NEVER mention Vaccummin on MB's..

.........
No wonder Ofers is streaking carpet..
I understand the benefit of vacuuming thoroughly. It's like night and day when u don't. Even with a helper to do the job properly we were only able to do three jobs a day. With driving, setup, vacuuming, etc. . U volume guys are definitely cutting corners.Agreed.
I bet you lazy slobs dont even check their pos vacuum to see belt, filters and bag to see if their even capable of even doing a good job

Bigger "prick", you're a much bigger prick than I.I've arrived.
I'm probably a bigger deal than Chavez now!
I can't answer that but I can tell ya who is.Whst IS a "retard", anyway?
If a white man said that, the PC police would be all over him!I can't answer that but I can tell ya who is.![]()
True. I guess it depends on your business model . I like to be home with my kids by at least 6pm.Or working late.
Dude I get away with murder here.If a white man said that, the PC police would be all over him!
To me if the corners aren't vacuumed the jobs not complete, and the homeowners Rarely do a thorough job even if u ask. When I get calls from potential customers who ask why so much I always mention that I vacuum for them. It does give value to the service and sets us apart. Now whether the client sees that value is another story. And how many do?
Whos fault is it when the entries, bullnoses, areas where the dog sleeps and jn front of the couch dried and still looks dirty?
Only the MBElite get it.
The rest on you tards live a life of misery.
Must be a difference in the service areas, when customers ask why I charge so much, if I said because I would vacuum for them, they would ask me how much it would be if they did the vacuuming themselves. To me if the corners aren't vacuumed the jobs not complete, and the homeowners Rarely do a thorough job even if u ask. I bet, if there was any way to know for sure, there's less than 10 of us here who really vacuum. .
Were you doing vlm then too? After reading the responses here I'm really surprised how many don't vacuum.
When I had employees I actually fired one guy because I caught him not vacuuming. Warned him the first time, fired him the second time.
I was a ChemDry franchisee then. Were you doing vlm then too?
When we do any kind of vlm, we always pre vac. We pre vac when necessary, lots of dog hair, no one has obviously vacuumed in a while, construction dust, etc. Just adds too much to the cost to pre vac every job. I guess I'm not a "premium pig"
I agree. There's so many other things that we can tell the customer on our prices besides just telling them that we vacuum the carpet. True, we see the value in it. But the customer just sees a vacuum cleaner.Must be a difference in the service areas, when customers ask why I charge so much, if I said because I would vacuum for them, they would ask me how much it would be if they did the vacuuming themselves.

When a potential client calls me and asks why so much I don't just say it's because we vacuum first.I agree. As sarcastic as it might sound, I tell them this first:
I'm not doing this as a hobby. I have a family to feed.
If they want more details, I go into the details of my process and how I focus on the dry times and the 7day spot free guarantee. That normally shuts them up.
I don't move anything that has things on it but vacuum around. I even try to get behind and under beds as much as possible . Couches get moved. I do move small items such as end tables, chairs etc. And replace with stick tabs. ISo, when you vacuum, do you move all the furniture and vacuum underneath, move it back and vac the traffic areas. What do you charge and how long does it take you?
