The curve at the handle doesn’t make cleaning risers “no problem.”
You're right, but it saves your back from being terribly sore at the end of the job.
The straight connection at the head of the wand makes it no problem. The curve at the handle just helps you not want to bend over, like that pmf straight wand pictured above. When it's totally straight, you are needing to adjust your stance to keep a solid connection parallel to the carpet, which causes you to bend over. Put a curve at the handle and your back won't be sore
But if you put a curve at the head, creating the "S" shape, your wand will have to be positioned too far forward while doing the risers, which will cause the vacuum hose to want to pinch, making the risers very awkward because you'll be trying to clean and maintain the hose.
Mike, is that a good enough explanation? I"m not the average rug sucking idiot. I could clean around you guys while you're still setting up.
Both of you are ignorant. Mike, I'm sorry, but your stair tool isn't perfect. I have the pmf "S" shaped one and I rarely use it for that reason.
Marty.......ahhh, I'm tired of explaining you
