I’m taking it to the forklift later this week to move it. Rubber mats underneath are getting pulled up.

The waste tank was behind it but I think I’m gonna move it to the left side of the machine for better mounting space and ease of access to the rear and right side of the machine.

The van needs a power steering fluid reservoir, a tuneup, and a new rear door

As for the tm, the water pump needs tlc, and the 185f thermal relief valve needs replaced. 🤞. Once I get it completed, we’ll see what other issues it might have

Interesting...Church Bus Project?

Technically, I think this was originally a FedEx box/van. I have a tarp over it because one of the previous owners where painters and they had mounted plywood on top of it to store their ladders, which put holes in the top sides of the walls. One of my other things to do, fill in the screw holes with some sort of silicone I guess.

That sub tank underneath the machine isn't plumbed yet. They guy bought it separate from the machine and never finished plumbing it. If anyone has some info on which hoses to put where, I'd appreciate it

I pulled the tm out today and got it on the shop floor. Water pump is out (5cp3120.3) and noticed a different looking chem pump. Any ideas on if this is rebuildable or should I switch to a gp pump?

I’m still waiting on the cat pump to get worked on at the pressure wash repair shop and in the meantime, have replaced a baked hose that laid over the exhaust pipe. I rerouted that blue hose higher over the exhaust pipe to prevent any more heat damage. . The hottest hose on that machine!

And removed a terrible metal heat cover over the catalytic converter that covered only half of it and replaced the Cc and down pipe with a radiant heat heat shield armor wrap

The coolant heat exchanger is leaking antifreeze out around the gasket so I’m hoping that’ll be an easy fix. If not...I have access to a helicoil that I’ll swap it out with

I found a little fan meant to blow air up towards the computer. I was told to remove it, due to several reports that it caused the main engine fan to fail.

I’m glad because it’s in the way of removing and installing the water pump

I'm planning on NOT using the Sub tank if anyone needs one for their Thermal wave or Blue Wave, make me an offer

If you have a different tm and would like it, let me know what the width of your mounting bolts are and we'll see if it'll work.

I know my pics are making it look complicated from your screen. But once I saw it pulled out on the shop floor to where I had room to inspect each section, it’s built very good

I love how they turned the engine sideways to have easy access to the blower belts, a huge amount of space between the engine fan and motor, which give easy access to gauges, switches, and belt for water pump/alternator

I have a question I hope you guys can help. The picture shows the chem pump on the center lower cap. The manual shows it mounted on the far right lower cap. Does it matter or is there a reason for which one it’s supposed to be mounted on?

I'm no mechanic but from what I understand its mounted on the cylinder that is planned on the chem pump being mounted on it.

So technically you could move it to any cylinder provided the guts of the cylinder are designed for the chem pump.

At least that's what I gathered from my distributor.

Pulling the water pump out is twice as easy as putting it in 😒

As for the new accumulator...I had to cut the threads in half to make it fit because it’s taller than the original one.

No I haven't. I bought this back in Feb this year and haven't used it. I'm just going through each part to get it ready

I’m a little closer to getting this back in shape. I’ll be ordering the updated plated heat exchanger to replace this piece of crap that I jerked out.

Did some welding to secure the alternator bracket, and cleaned it up while it was out in the open. And finally bolted it back in. It’s still in the ugly phase, but it’ll look good when I’m finished.
