I’m taking it to the forklift later this week to move it. Rubber mats underneath are getting pulled up.

The waste tank was behind it but I think I’m gonna move it to the left side of the machine for better mounting space and ease of access to the rear and right side of the machine.

The van needs a power steering fluid reservoir, a tuneup, and a new rear door

As for the tm, the water pump needs tlc, and the 185f thermal relief valve needs replaced. 🤞. Once I get it completed, we’ll see what other issues it might have

I don't know that machine but on older Prochem units a temperature solenoid controls bypassing water. It would bypass when too high a temp. It would also if scaled up and needed cleaned.

There is also a bi-metal thermal valve in the water box that if it got too hot would dump into the waste tank.

Are you referring to the temperature sending unit on the check valve?

As for the thermal relief valve…I’ve got it temporarily disconnected until I find a hose to connect it to the waste tank

Another challenge completed today thanks to @Jim Martin

The temp kept dropping when I let off the trigger. Jim came to the conclusion that the check valve in the pressure regulator had to be in it. And it was. So I took it out and it’s holding heat just fine.

I forget why some truckmounts need them and why some don’t, but it’s a good thing to check first if your tm is doing the same heat loss.

Looks like my brand new vac gauge went bad on first real Cc test

Any ideas on how to fix? I pulled that plug off the top of it and it’s still reading that

I had the vac set at 14"under full load

You see on the video that it stuck at 17 for some reason. It stayed after I disconnected the hoses. And

Yes, it still reads 17 after the plug is off of the gauge. I think it went down a little to 15

I just cranked it and it's not reading anything when under load now. I guess it's just bad

Almost ready.

Did a couple needs today to get this machine usable.

Hey Fred, can you put somewhere in my thread title “Money Pit”?

Purchased the van originally for $7500 and before all this is finished, $13k should be the finishing cost of van and machine.

If it runs strong for years, you're money ahead.

Delivered a rug this morning and collected $600. I surprised my wife with a 75” TV. Then fixing my APO float. After that taking my boys to see Dune. What a day.

Hope you get it fixed soon. Wish me luck. I’m getting the Lima Bean Special smogged right now.

The oil switch just got fixed today

I urge anyone who has the Hyundai engine to buy another oil pressure switch. The original one is plastic and made to fail, due to its location on the block. The new one isn’t plastic

My van didn’t pass smog. It passed the sniff test but the catalytic converter isn’t a California compliant one. So its costing me $800 to swith it out to a commie converter.

Man, if you haven’t figured it out, we’re just money conduits. Buy new, buy used, no matter, or what you do, keep it flowing!
