Do you use a whip hose with your wand?

I spoke with him a little while ago and he said the same thing. I'm thinking it is the same hose I am using now. He said my orange hose is most likely flexhaust?
It doesn't bend at all. Ugh! I wish I could just sell it but I couldn't sell something like that crap in good faith...

Just find a new struggling cleaner and either donate it to them or give them a good deal on it.

I got and still use the $50 Prochem blue hose........ Stuff is super stiff and heavy but it does do the job....

I use a 2 inch flexible 15 foot lead hose I got from dultmeiers. Connect it to my stiff hose and use it all the way to my wand. Bright yellow................ $20

The 2 inch hose you get from John Olsen, is it thick and really stiff? I need to get new vac hose soon. Ive got 300 ft of almost brand new orange hose up in my attic that I won't use because its too hard to work with. I need the lighter more flexible stuff.

I just got a few of those VacAttacks for the 1.5 inch tools, I am hoping they work well!

i have the light flexible hose on my pro1200se and it got super soft and sucked itself shut saturday at a job. was running on high and it couldnt handle the heat.

Scott, I will have to get up into the attic space and pull it down to get a pic which I can certainly do tomorrow....I've got a full day today.
I can say without a doubt, there is no way this hose would ever collapse! But I can also say you definitely don't want it to be your lead hose.
At best I would only consider using it as the outside run from the TM to the door for me anyway.
The one time I used it, I was very thankful the house was vacant as I am quite sure I would've been buying some knick knacks and tables!

Compared to the stuff we got with the tm, I can't imagine a better hose.

If your orange hose has a light blue inner lining than it might be this. I doubt it, stuffs pretty bendy.


I have no idea if this is the same hose John has. It's hard to tell when it has different names.

The 15' tapered hoses give you quite a bit of airflow improvement over the 2 inch reduced to a 1.5 inch whip but all the ones I have seen or used are a single ply hose that just will not hold up to the everyday vacuum and heat of a truckmount.
These hoses are typically used on car wash vacuums.
Let me know if this one is a 2 ply hose but I doubt it.

Durability is less than the Superflex 2" hose,

so just keep that in mind .

I use my steam way wand a lot on heavy soil, Love the flushing with K3 flood jet and the 1.5 pipe works fine. Pretty easy to sling around

As mentioned the number on the flood jets needs to be doubled to be equivalent to a normal wand jet for flow rate.

3 = 6, 1.5 = 3, etc.

I don't use the Steam Way wand now that I rotary jet extract, but otherwise it would be used most of the time to compensate. 6 flow at 2 inches from the surface makes for high impact clean & flush and at higher temperatures, especially with the protection shield. The smooth design shape of the vacuum allows for good cfm through a 1.5 inch wand.

Using that Steam Way wand with a kerosene burner is what made me slow to adopt rotary jet extraction. Even then I got tired of sometimes needing to chop stroke. Eventually took the easier route.
